BTS FED option « Génie climatique et fluidique »

Le titulaire du brevet de technicien supérieur « Fluides Énergies Domotique » (FED) est un technicien supérieur de bureau d’étude, de mise en service. Le technicien supérieur doit mener son travail de manière autonome et assurer in fine des responsabilités d’encadrement et de coordination.

C’est un technicien supérieur qualifié qui exerce ses compétences sous la direction hiérarchique d’un chargé d’affaires, chef de chantier, directeur technique, responsable bureau d’études (BE), gérant ou chef d’agence…

Il possède des connaissances techniques et économiques couvrant le déroulement d’une affaire, de la conception à la mise en service. Il doit être conscient des conséquences techniques et financières de ses choix et aussi des problèmes qui peuvent survenir sur les installations.

Il participe à l’étude technique, au chiffrage, à la réalisation (tout particulièrement dans des petites entreprises) et à l’exploitation d’un système.

Il s’adapte aux technologies et réglementations qui évoluent rapidement dans le domaine des fluides, de l’efficacité énergétique, de la récupération d’énergie, de la gestion technique.

Le technicien supérieur doit également avoir le sens du contact, savoir communiquer, car il est amené à négocier avec les clients, les fournisseurs, à rencontrer les utilisateurs, les autres corps d’état et collaborer avec les architectes lors des réunions de chantier.

Il contribuera à favoriser les comportements éco responsables de tous les acteurs qui l’entourent.

Ce métier polyvalent est constamment en évolution, le technicien supérieur peut multiplier des expériences diversifiées tout au long de sa carrière. Il peut à travers toutes les expériences vécues devenir un spécialiste référent. Au cours de sa carrière, ses compétences doivent lui permettre d’évoluer dans la hiérarchie de l’entreprise (chargé d’affaire), de créer ou reprendre une société.

Suivant leurs fonctions dans l’entreprise d’exécution ou le bureau d’étude technique (BET), les techniciens supérieurs seront amenés à réaliser les activités qui suivent.

 

Activités d’études techniques :

- concevoir des installations,
- dimensionner et définir des équipements avec des outils informatiques,
- chiffrer,
- choisir le matériel dont les caractéristiques seront les mieux adaptées aux besoins des clients, du produit ou à la résolution des problèmes techniques rencontrés,
- répondre à des appels d'offres, évaluer des équipements.

 

Activités d’intervention:

- mettre en service des systèmes,
- contrôler des travaux,
- diagnostiquer et analyser des dysfonctionnements,
- mettre en service et optimiser les installations,
- conseiller les clients,
- exécuter éventuellement des opérations de maintenance ciblées.

 

Activités d’organisation:

- réaliser un planning d’intervention,
- établir des commandes de matériel,
- participer aux réunions et suivis de chantier,
- rédiger des rapports ou des comptes rendus techniques,
- rédiger un dossier de réalisation, et un dossier des ouvrages exécutés (DOE).

 

DOMAINES D'ACTIVITÉ:

Le champ d’activité du technicien supérieur est essentiellement centré sur les installations CVC (chauffage, ventilation, climatisation) et sanitaire dans le bâtiment.

 

Les compétences requises :

Il devra maîtriser différents domaines tels que l’énergie thermique, l’hydraulique, l’aéraulique, l’acoustique, la maintenance, l’électrotechnique, la régulation, la gestion de l’énergie et les réglementations.

 

Parallèlement au suivi technique d’une opération, il participe à sa gestion. La relation avec le client est essentielle, il doit avoir le sens du contact, du service, savoir négocier et communiquer.

 

Le technicien supérieur doit être aussi capable de s’adapter aux évolutions technologies, réglementaires et normatives dans les domaines :

- de l’efficacité énergétique,
- des énergies renouvelables,
- de la récupération d’énergie,
- de la réhabilitation des bâtiments anciens,
- de la gestion technique,
- des réglementations environnementales présentes et à venir.
 

POURSUITE DES ETUDES

Les étudiants peuvent à l’issue de cette formation poursuivre les études en licences professionnelles, en classes préparatoires « Adaptation Techniciens Supérieurs » (ATS) ou en écoles d’ingénieurs.

 

EMPLOI

Le jeune titulaire d’un brevet de technicien supérieur est embauché au niveau ETAM dans le cadre des conventions collectives.

Les entreprises qui recrutent majoritairement ces étudiants opèrent dans divers secteurs :

- bureaux d’études techniques (BET),
- entreprises d’installation et/ou de maintenance,
- fournisseurs et/ou fabricants d’équipements
- collectivités territoriales,
- sociétés productrices d’énergie.

    Bonjour,
    Après l'obtention d'un BAC STG en 2008, ce dernier me plaisant pas, je me suis réorienté vers les métiers du genie climatique et du fluidique.
    J'ai donc effectué une formation de 5 ans en CFA (CAP IT en 1 an, BP GC et enfin BP froid).
    Pour la suite, le BTS FED m'intéresse fortement.
    Ayant été embauché en CDI par mon maître d'apprentissage, je ne peux pas me permettre de rompre mon contrat (besoin financier oblige...)
    Avez vous donc des pistes sur des organismes proposants ce BTS en correspondance?
